Congress American Memory ~ Includes This Day in History, as well as links
to images and items in the Library of Congress’ collections. This is a great resource to help illustrate
historical concepts. Check out the WPA

Language Arts games ~ Interactive games that support English Language Arts
skills grouped by grade levels, Primary (K-2), Intermediate (3-5), Middle
(5-8), and Secondary (9-12). Activities
include vocabulary games, parts of speech, and grammar skills.
Sheppard Software
~ Includes hundreds of educational games, quizzes, and activities related to
geography, history, science, and vocabulary skills.
Hooda Math ~ A website
with interactive math games and tutorials to support basic math
skills/computation.
Regents Prep ~ The
Oswego School District developed this website to help students practice and
review content for the New York State Regents Examinations. Interactive practice activities are available
here for reviewing Algebra, Geometry, U.S. History, English, Earth Science,
Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Great
review tool for students!

Basic Skills Games ~ This website was put together by Jefferson County
Schools –this link includes activities that support Middle School Science
topics including animals, plants, space, and weather.
Biomes of the World ~
The Missouri Botanical Garden put this website together. Students can click on the different biomes
(tundra, rain forest, taiga, desert, grasslands, and temperate) and learn about
the types of plant life and animals found there, along with facts and geographic
locations of the world’s different biomes. Also has links to similar websites
on marine and freshwater ecosystems!
Discovery
Kids Seek Your Own Proof ~ Free website that teachers can sign up for that
encourages students to use reading, problem solving, and analysis skills. Supports science and history.

Library Note-Taking Wiki ~ Webpage that reviews different strategies for
note taking and also has links to interactive graphic organizers and additional
