Text Box: Art Trivia for August/September Clues:                        I am best known for my paintings of flowers, shells, and bones. I found great inspiration in the American Southwest so I moved to New Mexico. I grew up on a farm, attended art school in New York city, and married a famous photographer. At the age of 84 my eyesight started to fail and I dabbled in pottery. I received the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the National Medal of Arts. I live in Poultney with my husband, Pedar, and I have 2 sons, Mikkel and Jakeb. I am also the Art Teacher for Poultney High School.
