CHANCE Program
(Children Having Active New Community Experiences)
CHANCE is a new program being
offered for all students here at PHS through the month of June. CHANCE is
designed to allow students a place to go
and work on homework
,
learn about good choices in nutrition
,
as well combining with some opportunities for some fun, outdoor activities,
or life-long sports. We have planned some Geocaching
trips
around Poultney, a White Water Rafting excursion,
and a trip to the New York State Museum and Asian Market in Albany.
We
will be wrapping up the program with an afternoon of mini-golf
and ice
cream
,
in the Lake George area. There will soon be posters located throughout the
school with more details, as well as a sign-up sheet near the main office.
Space is limited and it is first come, first served... Any questions
can be directed to the above email address, Ashley Mulholland, Kaitlin
Cioffi or Michele Harmon.

I am married to Ashley, another IA here at PHS.

One wonderful daughter born May 28, 2008, Colea Jade.
What is your favorite subject?
I am a math and science geek, there are rules and they are almost always the same.
Ewwww... Really?!?!
Yup.
How come you're an IA?
I started as an IA to test the waters of education. My plan is to go back to school soon and become a licensed math teacher.
Why math again?
Because, once you know the rules, it's all the same, and it makes sense. English and history keep changing!
What do you do when you aren't at school?
When I am not at home with my wife and daughter, playing Xbox 360 or PS3, I work my second job at American Legion Post 323 in Granville or am doing something with the Poultney Fire Department, of which, I am a member.
Geez, do you ever sleep?
Sometimes... sometimes...
Do you like dogs or cats?
I am very much a dog person, as I am terribly allergic to cats. Yuck!
Did you play any sports here when you were in school?
I played football for Mr. Capman.
What position did you play?
I played offensive and defensive tackle.
Wow! Were you any good?
I was okay.
What's your favorite color?
Alright, now you're just wasting time. Get back to your work...
